This is how I got here, not on the planet, but instead how I got to the decision of discovering our ancestry...

... It was my grandfathers wish to take me to his birthplace, Malta, since he had moved to England long before giving birth to my father. He wanted that I meet his family and see his old life. Unfortunately my grandfather passed away in 2004 and never got the chance to show me his childhood home. In 2009 I decided to visit the Island of Malta with my cousin so that I could in some way, fulfill my grandfathers dream. I loved it so much that the following year I decided to move from England to Malta and start a life of my own. Since then I have met many cousins (2nd and 3rd) and have been eager to learn new things about the family, but it has been difficult, since anyone who had known him well and grew up with him have all passed away.

So I started digging for information, ordering birth certificates etc and starting to build the tree. It has been a long procedure and many things are still missing, but it is nice to be able to have some history (I’ve gone from knowing my great grandfather’s name to finding out about his wife, his parents, her parents, their siblings, seeing their photos and much more). This is why I decided to build this site, so that others, any of my families decendants etc can use it to find out about their ancestors and even about me and my intimate family once we’re long gone.

So, here it is, HAPPY READING!
